Large Savings for the City
“We have used our same forms over 300 times” says Gary Vroman, Crew Chief for the Public Works in the City of Palm Bay, FL. Gary was the winner of 3 awards including American Public Works Floriday Employee of the Year for recommending Plastiform to be used. As was noted in the City of Palm Employee of the Month Proclamation: Mr Vroman researched and gathered information on a new type of plastic form board for concrete forming which replaced the wooden ones used by the city. The new forms have meant large savings for the city because they are reuseable, require no nails, do not warp, and are easily transported by the work crews to the job sites. The time savings has been enormous as the forms go together quicker and easier and can be removed from the concrete sooner. We have reduced the crew size from 12 to 6 and often use the same forms twice in one day.”

One of the Smartest Decisions
“We are very happy with our forms from The Plastiform Company. They have opened up new markets for us, as we are able to achieve smooth, even curves. The exceptional curves that we get have brought rave review from our customer. The Camlock system is quick and easy to use, it’s saved us time and money. Purchasing these forms is definitely one of the smartest decisions we have made.”

You Won't Go Back to Using Wood Forms for Flatwork
"I made my first purchase of these forms 5 years ago And am still using the originals after more than a hundred forming jobs. Among some of the reasons I have been very pleased and are purchasing more, are the following: They are light. One person can load and unload hundreds of lineal feet without much effots. They are durable. They are very cost effective and less wasteful when compared with wood over time. The save lots of time. Forms can be set quickly with he final leveling adjustments (or corrections) easily made by loosening camlock stake holders and sliding the form up or down. If you do much free form or radius work, you’ll find they are so much more flexible and fast for making gentle curves or even a tight radius. Stripping forms is fast and easy. Just turn the camlocks loose and remove the forms. No nails or screws to mess with and the forms are like Teflon in how easy they peal away, even after years of use. Cleaning the plastic forms is much easier and faster than cleaning wood forms. Even my less skilled employees can easily and accurately set these forms. For these and other reasons, I would strongly recommend this product. I believe once you try them, you will not go back to using wood forms for flatwork."
